gnome-applets-dbg software package provides Various applets for the GNOME panel - binary files with debugging symbols, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gnome-applets-dbg
gnome-applets-dbg is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gnome-applets-dbg package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gnome-applets-dbg *
